BBcise Mother and Baby Yoga

BBcise is a unique and fun exercise programme especially designed for Mother and Baby. BBcise classes provide a wonderful opportunity for a new Mother to ease her way back into exercise after the birth of her baby. Our classes use yoga based exercises and poses to help  to increase fitness, strengthen and tone abdominal, back and pelvic floor muscles, regain good posture and help to re-energise and increase energy levels as well as gaining some vital relaxation techniques.

For baby, there is massage and fun yoga based exercises and games to play which encourage the baby’s reflexes to develop and in doing so will help with their gross and fine motor skill development. Baby is also gaining skills to encourage strength and development. The yoga also helps baby to relax and sleep better.

Music features throughout the classes and so is a good opportunity to re-learn all those nursery rhymes from childhood - and it makes it fun!

Mothers need to have had their six week postnatal check before attending.
