Bump Birth and Babies - Charlotte Whitehead is a mother of three young children and having attended yoga for pregnancy when pregnant herself, she went on to train with the National Childbirth Trust (NCT).

She qualified as an NCT Yoga for Pregnancy teacher in 2003 and has been teaching Yoga for Pregnancy classes in Berkshire ever since. She holds a Diploma of Higher Education in Adult Education (Antenatal Education) from University of Bedfordshire. She also attended the Active Birth Centre Yoga for Pregnancy training in 2003. More recently she has been involved in the development and running of NCT Yoga for Pregnancy Training Programme.

In 2005, soon after the birth of her third baby and when looking for exercise classes, it became evident that there were very few opportunities for mothers to get back into shape after birth that could be done with baby. It was very important that the classes involved both mother and baby together as opposed to just the mother or just the baby, and so BBcise was born! In 2007 Sara Peters joined the team to teach BBcise classes, Sara is also a mother of two young girls and fully understands the joys and demands of new mothers and how important development in the early months of a baby’s life is.

Having massaged all three of her children from birth Charlotte completed the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM) training and became a certified instructor, allowing her to share with parents the many benefits of infant massage.

Charlotte runs the class in a very relaxed way, very stimulating and fun for the babies, including some great exercises and tips for us mums.
